Decade fancy dress parties are great fun. People like to host them for various reasons, maybe they were born in the 60s and want to dress like their parents did. Even born in the seventies and want to be nostalgic and dress again as they did as a teenager in the eighties. So what ever you fancy here are some ideas how to dress for your 1950's,60's,70's or 80's party night. Have fun picking costumes for you and your friends.

5Os Rock 'n Roll.
Popular costumes are Elvis, Rockers, Teddy boys, or characters from Grease. For the girls brightly coloured rock and roll skirts, bobby socks, neck scarves, pink lady jackets and fifties style glasses are all key looks. Our Teddy boy wig, aviator specs or bootlace ties are popular choices.

Swinging 1960s
Sergeant Pepper costumes, stand up collar Beatle suits, Austin Powers or a peace loving hippie are popular choices for the guys. Shift dresses in black and white for the mod look or swirly patterns are ideal but it's the finishing touches that really help you look the part. Peace symbol necklaces, go-go boots, Quant style earrings or Baker boy caps are the key accessories for that sixties look.

Abba parties and the 1970s
Whether you're a dancing queen or a 70s theme party goer - the wider the flares and the bigger the collars the better. Men and women go for separates or funky all in one cat suit. A pair of platforms is a must. Or get your disco fever from a frilly satin tux shirt or sparkly lurex. 1980s
General looks for guys here include the relaxed Miami Vice look, slogan T shirts, new romantics or shell suits. We stock some great eighties wigs to compliment these from Mullets to the George Michael streaks (talking about his hair not his recent antics). Other specific characters suggestions: Purple Prince, Adam Ant or Rod Stewart. Our women customers often go for Madonna, Bananarama , Fame dancers or the Dynasty look, shoulder pads and all!
